Crave & Project ALS Fundraising Effort

It is always a joy to fundraise for organizations that we feel connected to through our own families or through our friends.  Our latest idea was recently presented to over 150 amazing women who came out on March 11th, 2015 to support Project ALS.

The event was held in NYC at Houston Hall (A Beer Hall in Soho, amazingly revamped from an abandoned parking garage) called "Women & the Brain" hosted by Project ALS. The event began with a get to know cocktail hour and then a short intro by Rosanna Scotto, NYC Fox 5 newscaster, introducing 2 incredibly gifted Neurosurgeons, followed by comedy from 3 of the funniest female comedians. And while we were laughing our butts off, we were drinking artisan brews, snacking on tuna tacos and that giant Pretzel, what the Beer hall is known for!

At the end of the evening, each woman left with a cloth bag, similar in style to the dust bag you get when purchasing a luxury handbag or shoes.  The ladies were asked to look in their closets for a new or gently used luxury item for resale. When we have the item we will sell it on our site. Once the item is sold, Crave Luxury Consignment will be donating a portion of the sales to PROJECT ALS. To date we have a Prada bag, a pair of Manolo's, a pair of Christian Louboutins, a Judith Leiber evening bag.

We know you will find something you like and help us with this fundraising effort. Happy Shopping!
